Place Your First Simulated Trade — Live
A 2-night beginner workshop where you learn how trading works, watch the US market open with guidance, and practise safely before risking real money.
Built for busy beginners who have watched trading videos but still freeze when opening a chart.
Live on Zoom · Tue 1 Sep + Thu 3 Sep · 7:00pm–10:30pm SGT · Founding cohort US$79
- No experience needed
- Simulation first
- No broker deposit
- No profit promises
No real-money trading required. You practise on simulation first.
- Plan written before open
- Risk defined first
- Trade logged after exit
Illustrative simulation interface. No profit or performance figures are shown.
Explore trading as a practical financial skill — without quitting your job, staring at charts all day, or risking money before you understand the process.
Founding pilot cohort: US$79 for the first small group. Limited to 15 seats so the session stays practical and interactive.
Stop watching random trading videos. Come practise it properly.
Most beginners collect hours of content and still freeze at the screen. This workshop is deliberately hands-on: you do the thing, live, with someone explaining it while it happens.
Watch the live US market open
Not a replay. We sit together as the opening bell hits and talk through what is actually happening on the screen.
Place a first simulated trade
You open a demo platform and place a trade with guidance — entry, stop, target and risk defined before you click.
Two simple trading setups
Simple, rule-based ways to read a chart, wait for price, and avoid chasing.
A 30-day practice plan
You leave with a structured plan for the next 30 days of simulated practice — before any real money is at risk.
Two nights. One clear starting point.
Two live evenings, three and a half hours each. Night one builds the understanding. Night two puts you in front of a real market open.
How trading actually works
- What a market is, who is on the other side, and what moves price
- Brokers, spreads, order types and the real cost of a trade
- Risk first: position size, stop placement and what you can lose
- Two simple trading setups for reading a chart
- Platform walkthrough on a simulated account
Live market open and your first simulated trade
- Preparing a plan before the US session opens
- Guided observation of the 9:30pm open in real time
- You place a simulated trade with entry, stop, target and risk

- Beginner introduction to prop firms and funded accounts
- Building your personal 30-day practice plan
The market opens. You are already prepared.
At 9:30pm the US session opens and we watch it together. You will have written your plan before the bell, observed the first minutes with guidance, then placed a simulated trade with your risk defined in advance.

What we will never do
Trading education has an honesty problem. Here is the line we hold, in plain language.
No profit claims. Ever.
We show no P&L screenshots, no income figures and no track records. Trading involves risk of loss.
No signals, no managed money
We do not tell you what to buy, we do not sell alerts and we never touch your funds.
Simulation first
Everything you do in the workshop happens on a demo account. Real money is your decision, later.
Education, not advice
This is general education only. Nothing here is personal financial advice or a recommendation.
Jelvin S
Founder & Lead Instructor, First Trade Lab
Jelvin teaches beginners the way he wishes he had been taught: risk before entries, simulation before real money, and a written process instead of opinions. No signals, no performance claims — just a calm, structured first step into the market.
You’re not paying for more theory. You’re paying for a guided first trading experience.
